Mercy of the King

Mercy.

Mercy is compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm. I have read many stories, especially online, about examples of mercy. But you know, the stories and lessons in the Bible about mercy are very meaningful. These are just a few of the verses about mercy.

Psalm 13:5 (KJV)
But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Psalm 21:7 (KJV)
For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
Psalm 23:6 (KJV)
Surely goodness andmercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Proverbs 14:21 (KJV)
He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hathmercy on the poor, happy is he.
Proverbs 20:28 (KJV)
Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden bymercy.
